Teresa and Gary Day 2

I am an earlier morning person, so I was up before 6:00 in a room full of people trying to sleep.  I get up and try to do some work on my work laptop; OK and play some candy crush.  Without waking up 2 sleeping children, their parents and my husband.  I let them sleep until after 6:30, we are supposed to be picked up by 7:30 by Bruce and family, LOL, who are rarely on time.  This time they were only a few minutes late, and we are on the road again.   OOPs someone forgot their fan and we have to get back in the room.

While waiting for everyone to finish breakfast I go to  Shnuck's to get Gary some claritin, and pass the "Home Depot"  YEA, a new step ladder to help me climb in the 10 foot tall vechile.  The kids were hilarious as we drove through "New York", LOL, listening to them as they describe the sites was "priceless".  Talking about skyscrapers and the beautiful buildings, impressive for country folks.

I have claimed the first row behind the driver as my permanent seating.  It is always cool. and has lots of hiding places and easy access to the cooler.  The only disadvantage is frequently extra feet show up on the sides or top of the seat.  While Gary got the front seat, where he and Justin have listened to 5 hours, YES, 5 hour of HAPPY,  HAPPY, HAPPY, a book on tape from yuck dynasty.  Actually it was not that bad, and I am not a fan.

The kids did pretty good with all the driving until late afternoon.  So after supper while they played in the park (released some energy); Justin, Jessica and I worked on remodeling the van.  Shifting bags and moving kids around, and cleaning up the van.  (Who would have thought 5 kids could make that kind of mess in a vehicle in 24 hours, Amazing!)  And then we are back on the road again.  Finally stop at the Inverness Inn for the night in Murdo, South Dakota.  Interesting place to stay to say the least.  OK I did put a table in from of the door.  But is was a small motel on a main street.  The bed was comfortable and I slept great.
